Documents, sports equipment and teaching materials were lost when the ground floor was flooded. The school serves almost 1,500 pupils, who hope to see the area of around 4,000 square metres restored. The school has a two-storey masonry structure and a one-storey masonry children's block. The entire ground floor of the school was completely flooded, as was the entire outside area of the courts and the sports hall. It was not possible to remove the documents and equipment from the site. The Type 1 school serves around 1,403 pupils at an average cost of R$2,278.10 per student. Estimated value of the investment for renovation: R$ 8.000.000,00.
