Paço Municipal

The historic building housing the Paço Art Museum, in the Historic Center, was surrounded by floodwaters. The Aldo Locatelli Art Gallery is located there. In the basement, some sculptures could not be removed due to the weight of the solid cement and iron materials, such as a model of the Monument to the Azoreans (Carlos Tenius); a sculpture by Xico Stockinger (from the Gabirus series) and three sculptures by Vasco Prado. Estimated investment value for construction R$ 1.219.677,00.
